The Cobble Creek Shop til You Drop show was just about to start when the lights went out. And stayed out for 2 of the 3 hours of the short show. The good thing was that I sold out the rest of my purse glasses that have a built in flash light in the case. Gotta love the silver lining in that cloud.
The shoppers were great - committed to the fund raising causes which were the reason for the event. It was an adventure for sure!
Baby BOGO still going on. Thanks to those who purchased yesterday - I'll be heading to the PO on my new snow tires shortly.

Baby Sew Happy BOGO Clearance
I am having a clearance sale until Dec1st, 2009.
Please buy 1 item & get another free (lower priced item of course).
I'm going to donate any items left to charity.
5 etsy shops is too many for me. I'm clearing out the baby items to focus better on the Inspired Blessings, etc...
Enjoy the sale!

Fall is in the AIR
Where did the summer go? Between all the activities, and joining a gym, it has been a blur. At least I reached my weight loss goal! Partly by eating more raw, and more veggies, and more blender drinks - which I'm putting into a cook book!
Many new BABY items are now on ETSY. Many are ready for embroidery!

Summer is here
Well the kids are out of school, staying up late, building camp fires, and sleeping in.
My veggie garden along the side of the garage is better then I imagined. I pick my lunch salad every day.
I have listed lots more Pet products in my etsy PetSewHappy shop. I've started to make more blind mice again, with cat nip filling for cat toys.
I'm working on some gifts for my nephew's new baby, and then I'll list some more items in my BabySewHappy etsy shop.
Keep cool!

Healing & Clearing Out
Thank You for my Healing! My sore throat is feeling better.
And, now that I am feeling better, I am clearing out the extra fabric, etc...
I will be using Etsy juliasew and BabySewHappy, and ebay to liberate some things I no longer need. I very healing process - Clearing out.
First to go: Flannel, baby prints, some CD's of Lilith Fair music.
My all these things go to a good home, where they can be used & treasured.
Thank You!

Google Sites for new Web site
I found out recently that my web site went away. Never fear DH is near!
With in 2 hours, we re-created an even better web site, with multiple pages, and links to all five etsy shops!
The only thing that did NOT work is trying to paste in an etsy mini. There are several people with the same problem on etsy, so I know its not just me. Etsy mini(s) are so cool. There are several in my blog page down the left hand side. They are generated by etsy's web site in a user specified configuration.
If you have any insight to making etsy minis work on Google sites, please let me know.

Clearing Out the Old, making room for the New!
The clearing out has begun!
So far phase 1, 2, and 3 are complete. I have completely removed everything from 3 main areas of the sewing workrooms. Sorted thru it, re-organized what I want to keep, and made boxes for stuff to sell. My work room is now much easier to work in and find what I need.
I have also realized that the extra stuff was clogging up my space, distracting me from what I really wanted to do. It has inspired me to create & teach a class about setting up your sewing room - on a shoestring. It will be offered in Fairport in the Spring!
In the mean time, I will start listing the de-stash items on etsy & ebay under the username of Juliasew. See you there for some great bargains.
